HCJFS wants to improve our service to fathers in Hamilton County. We’ve started a design team to look at ways to improve our services and connections with dads. We need fathers to interview. We need both fathers and mothers to meet with us one Friday a month from noon to 4 p.m.

We are recruiting fathers and mothers to participate with HCJFS staff in a series of meetings aimed at helping JFS better engage and serve fathers. To achieve our goal, we need involvement and input from our community’s fathers and mothers. …

Members of HCJFS’ Workforce Development team received an award today for an innovative partnership to help food assistance recipients find work. County Administrator Jeff Aluotto presented the “Team Impact” award as part of Hamilton County’s 2018 Circle of Excellence. The team was also honored Wednesday at the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners meeting.

May is Public Assistance Fraud Awareness Month in Ohio, and HCJFS is spreading the word that “Fraud Costs All of Us.” Residents of Hamilton County can report suspected public assistance fraud by calling HCJFS at 513-946-2217 or going to www.hcjfs.org/fraud or www.jfs.ohio.gov/fraud.
